I just want to throw out a ton of kudos and cheers and thanks for our friend Terry, who’s in the process of donating blood stem cells for the National Marrow Donor Program.
Terry, what you’re doing, the pain you’re enduring, is selfless. You’re giving of yourself to take away someone else’s pain, and for that, you really rock. I’m proud to call you a friend.
Seconded.
I’m proud to call you my brother. You’re the best. Love you man!
Maru
I just realized, and looked it up and to my relief to find out he/his owner are alright; Maru the boxcat lives in Sendai, Japan—The site of the earthquake/tsunami in March 2011.
Sleeping Guard
So the sleeping guard was actually at my buddy’s school festival. Literally, 10 feet away were massive speakers blaring dubstep and dance tunes and about 200 people dancing. (And the entire campus was overtaken by people too.)
A bored sketch I did at the end of class. Bell rang before I could finish. (Taken with instagram)
I have never seen firefly or arrested development… I have refused to watch them for the past few years because I already know the tragedy that happened to them and how it tears at my friends. I do not wish to experience that.. So I save myself the heartache, and thus, have never seen them. (actually, to be honest, I have seen one episode of arrested development)

In a 10-minute video shot by photographer Keely Kernan, North Korean refugee Park Myung Ok talks about the heart-rending hardships she suffered before she fled the North.
I wish there was more we could do. It’s just absolutely horrible the way the North Koreans are treated by their government.
